Riding School Lessons
– REQUIRED, PLEASE READ –
For all new and existing FWF riders, please click HERE to fill out and submit your digital Rider Information & Agreements Form (RIA Form), even if you have completed a paper RIA Form in the past. Without submitting your completed RIA Form, you will be unable to book lessons at our facility. Once you have submitted your RIA Form, an email will be sent to you with login credentials to create an account inside of our online scheduling system. Once you have logged in, you will have access to book any lesson listed below. For all new FWF riders, please understand you are required to book an evaluation lesson for your initial riding experience here at Far West Farms. If you book a lesson that is not an evaluation as a new FWF rider, we will see this, cancel that lesson and book you into an evaluation.

All riders must wear appropriate riding gear, even for evaluations, jeans or breeches ONLY, no shorts, no sweatpants, no slacks, no exceptions. Please also wear boots with a heal and an approved riding helmet, we can provide approved riding helmets if needed.

Individual Lessons
Half Hour Evaluation Lesson - $75
A private evaluation lesson is mandatory at our facility for all new riders. Regardless of skill level, without scheduling an evaluation lesson for your initial riding experience here at FWF, the lessons listed below will not be fulfilled. This way our trainers can get to know you, assess your overall skill level and design the best lesson program for you.
Half Hour Private Lesson - $100
Just you, a horse, and a trainer’s undivided attention. No pressure.
Group Lessons
The only thing better than 30 minutes in the saddle is a full hour! Groups are organized by rider’s ability and age, and your trainer will discuss with you which classes are appropriate for you after your evaluation lesson (3-5 riders in a group).
Full Hour Group Lesson Beginner Walk Trot - $125
Full Hour Group Lesson Intermediate Walk Trot Canter - $125
Full Hour Group Lesson Beginner Jump - $125
Full Hour Group Lesson Intermediate Jump - $125
Full Hour Group Lesson Advanced Jump - $125
Group Lesson Bundles of 8
Lessons contained within these packages are offered at a discounted rate and must be redeemed within 35 days of the purchase date. No carryovers or credits can be applied passed the 35 day mark. If you are unable to use all 8 lessons within the 35 day period of time, the rate for any remaining lessons you have will be adjusted to the regular rate of $100 per lesson for Half Hour bundles and $125 per lesson for Full Hour bundles. These lessons are organized into groups, they are not private.
